Against the backdrop of the global transformation toward intelligent manufacturing and the deepening advancement of Industry 4.0, mechatronics and intelligent control are becoming core technologies for enhancing equipment performance, enabling flexible production, and achieving autonomous decision-making. Mechatronics integrates machinery, electronics, control, and information processing, playing a key role in industrial robots, CNC equipment, and precision manufacturing. Breakthroughs in intelligent control technologies (such as adaptive control and neural networks) have greatly improved system robustness and self-learning capabilities. The deep integration of these two fields is driving traditional manufacturing toward intelligent and networked transformation, while injecting strong momentum into emerging areas such as new energy equipment, medical robots, and unmanned systems.
2026 6th International Conference on Mechatronics and Intelligent Control (MIC 2026), hosted by Hefei, China, will be held from December 25–27, 2026, in Shanghai, China. The conference will focus on research areas including "Mechanical Engineering" and "Intelligent Control." It aims to provide an international platform for collaboration and exchange, where experts, scholars, and enterprises in the fields of mechatronics and intelligent control can share research findings, discuss existing challenges, and explore cutting-edge technologies. The goal is to jointly advance the development of mechatronics and intelligent control, address new technological challenges, and serve societal needs. We warmly welcome scholars from around the world to submit their papers and participate in the conference!
